SLA Student Members
Library and Information Science Students – As you well know, embarking on a new career path can be a daunting experience as you set up your goals for the future. You need to embrace a networking paradigm because most career opportunities arise out of nurturing professional relationships.
Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the Biomedical and Life Sciences Division (DBIO) can help you achieve success and satisfaction in your professional life.
Member dues for students are incredibly cheap. Reduced student membership rate of $40 (you can receive this rate for up to 3 years, while actively a student!) makes you a member of SLA. Student Member status is granted to an applicant enrolled in a curriculum of library or information science at least part time (two or more courses). Student members may affiliate with one chapter and one division at no additional cost.
Be sure to choose Biomedical and Life Sciences Division as your division!
